Masterclasses
11th - 12th February 2026: Hand Building Masterclass with Madelene Schreiner
In this two-day masterclass, Swedish artist Madelene Schreiner will teach students all the techniques needed to hand-build their very own vase from scratch.
Madelene has a broad education in Art and Design, having studied in various Art School’s across Sweden and Germany. She commenced her studies in painting, printmaking and graphic design before specialising in photography.
In her images, she discovers places, buildings and atmospheres that remind her of dreams she’s had.
“I am drawn to the feeling that certain abandoned places evoke, as if I could sense what they once were. There is something irresistibly beautiful in what is broken, old, and even withered. Everything that has aged carries within it a story, which the viewer is invited to complete.”
This masterclass offers students the opportunity to learn from Madelene's extensive expertise and unique perspective.
